Local History

The Museum has a large collection of local history material, photographs and archive, which can be viewed by appointment and is always interested in objects of local interest, photographs or papers relating to the borough and its inhabitants.

The Museum shop has many items of historical interest and publications on history and the local area.

Enquiries

If you have an Enquiry and think the Museum can help, e-mail info@spelthornemuseum.org.uk but please remember we are all volunteers so it may take some time to investigate.

Education

The Education Team run teaching sessions on both Romans and Victorians where volunteers in costume take children through a typical day of the period. There are also  Victorian & Roman Loan Boxes available for schools to borrow and an accompanying Teachers Pack.
